The low table is where outdoor furniture usually gives itself away. A top that stains, a leg that rusts. These are the Flexform coffee and side tables built for a terrace.
The top decides everything
Stone tops look best and weigh the most. Marble and quartzite take a sealant and need it renewed, and they are the tops that should be covered when a terrace is closed for winter.
Ceramic and porcelain tops are the low maintenance answer. They do not stain, they need no sealing, and they survive a dropped glass better than stone does.
Wood tops in iroko grey out over a season unless they are oiled, which some owners want and some do not. Ask us which finish a collection comes in before you choose, because the finish is set at the factory and not afterwards.
